Our student SK. Shreevarthani of III B.A. English Literature won the gold medal in the U-20 girls 400 m hurdles at the 36th Tamil Nadu State Open Junior Athletic Championship, held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Chennai, on 6 July 2024.
Performance: 1:01.12 s — new meet record (2024). Previous record: 1:01.64 s (Roselin Arokiamery, PSA MDS, 2001).
